Oh 1938 Ad-men, What Were You Thinking?


First of all, whoever is letting that baby hold a steaming tea cup of Oxo needs a visit from Social Services yesterday.

Secondly, Oxo with milk is not 'especially good', it is 'almost unfeasably rank.'

    Great advert! There was a long running series of adverts in The Orcadian and the Orkney Herald for Kruschen Salts - you know, the ones featuring that bloke with the enormous chin and the deranged smile. As I recall, he was always pretty smug about how "regular" he was. Can you confirm his smugness in a future post, perhaps? Top blog, by the way.
